KRA Updates

If you confirmed your student scores, you have access to those student's Individualized Score Reports (ISR) and information in the Data Displays. If not, don't worry, all reports will be available in early December. If you want to print all of the Individual Student Reports (ISR) for all of the students in your building you can pull the ISR Zip File in the Create Reports area on KReady.org.

"Empathy is about standing in someone else's shoes, feeling with his or her heart, seeing with his or her eyes. Not only is empathy hard to outsource and automate, but it makes the world a better place." - Daniel H. Pink

Home Connections

This coming January, Michigan Learning Channel will launch a statewide network of new broadcast channels that are dedicated to bringing grade-level specific content into homes across the state. Math and English lessons will air for grades K-3 from 8 am to noon Monday through Friday or be available on-demand at DPTV.

See the previews of the lessons below.

Social Emotional Learning

Cultivating Genius

Dr. Gholdy Muhammad shares how to plan read alouds using the Culturally and Historically Responsive Literacy Framework. Here is an example of the model using the text The Day You Begin by Jacqueline Woodson. Try using this text within this framework with your students either reading aloud yourself or using the Netflix Jr. read aloud done by Jacqueline Woodson herself, linked below.
