AUTHOR FROM OUR SUMMER READING BOOK, CHRIS HARRIS, COMING TO MCCV!

On Friday, September 13th, all students K-8 at MCCV will get to meet the hilarious Chris Harris. We will host a morning assembly when he visits to talk about his book, the delightful I'm Just No Good at Rhyming. Chris is a mega successful writer of things from television's How I Met Your Mother and the Late Show with David Letterman. He's such fun – his writing is superb, and his poems rival Shel Silverstein in silliness and nonsense. This book is a great way to help kids learn to enjoy and appreciate poetry.

In the evening, he will be our special guest at our first MCCV Poetry Jam!

HOW TO SET UP PARENT CONTROLS ON YOUR STUDENT'S IPAD

The iPads issued to students in Petaluma City Schools are configured to only allow educationally appropriate access to the internet at school, home or on any network for that matter. Parents may enable the Parent Controls that are built into the iPad’s system software to further restrict or limit their student’s access to the internet or other aspects of the iPad. Please note that Parent Control settings may be lost if a student’s iPad needs to be reformatted by the technology department.

PCS reserves the right to remove any parent restrictions that interfere with content or apps required for classroom activities.
