Message from the Principal

Hello Ride Parents,

We are excited about the Red Wagon/CPHS Homecoming Parade on Wednesday, September 13th! Sally K. Ride is encouraging everyone to come out and enjoy the community event. There will also be a fantastic High School Pep Rally immediately following the parade on Market Street. We are going to make a day of it at school as well. The theme is Paris! On Wednesday, wear black and white to school!

Red scarves will be handed out to all students who come to the parade to accentuate your outfit. Many parents have also said they have found some cute berets to wear. We have even provided a cute cut out beret the kids and make and color to wear at the parade.

We will meet in the Orvis parking lot at 5:30pm. The parade begins at 6:00pm and it will procede around the Market street square and end right back at Orvis. I hope you can join us!!

I would also like to feature our after school dance club, Dancing Through Life. It is a great opportunity the Fred Astaire Dance Studio has brought to Ride. Please scroll down to the bottom of newsletter for more information! It is for Kindergarten through 4th grade.

We hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Megan Burnham
