News from Our School Counselor
Parents,
The connection between the things we say to ourselves, the cognitions/thoughts we have, and the behaviors we act upon, are so interconnected. Because of this, researchers continue to dispute which of these hold the most power. Practice the mindset shift sayings below, and with time you will see the subtle changes in the actions and thoughts of your loved ones.

Count Down to Census
Census at a Glance
The census is much more than just a head count. It provides a picture of our nation that helps determine where to build new schools, hospitals, and businesses; how federal funding is distributed; and how congressional seats are apportioned. It also helps us see how our communities have changed over time. That’s why an accurate count is so important.

YOU COUNT
Every 10 years, everyone living in the United States is counted in the census by the U.S. Census Bureau. The count is used to distribute power at every level of government and distribute more than $675 billion each year to communities across the nation. Decisions about Indiana’s future – and the dollars for it – come down to counting everyone, especially YOU!
