TRAUMA INFORMED CARE: HOW TO EFFECTIVELY ADDRESS TRAUMA IN COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS FOR COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION

Though an unfortunate truth, there is a large population that are effected by trauma. Those working with the public, especially those involved in behavioral health services, need to understand how to approach care from a trauma informed perspective. In order to do that, one must understand trauma, its implications, and learn ways to approach people who have been effected by it.
