Enrollment Update
Thanks to you JCFA-East met its goal of enrolling 90 students by October 1st! Our next orientation will occur in November and there is already a wait-list for new students. If you know a student who might be a good fit for JCFA-East, please refer them to our website for additional information on the admissions process.
JCFA-East Scientist of the Month
Jamal J.
Jamal J. is an American scientist who embodies Charles Darwin’s idea that “a man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life”. Jamal has not wasted a single second of time and as a result has progressed at a rate that is so rapid it is virtually unheard of. His refusal to waste a single second reflects his insight into the value of life. Like Dr. Darwin, his perseverance and commitment to his vision have resulted in a transformation in the way his peers view the world of academia.

Tardies
- Tardies are not allowed.
- Students with multiple tardies will be placed on a Personal Improvement Plan.
- Please call the school at 504-410-3280 before 8:55am if you know your student will be late.
Banking
- Every Monday - Thursday from 1:05pm - 2:14pm
- Allows students to build an attendance "savings account"
- Important in maintaining 90% attendance
- Important for maintaining appropriate progress in courses
- Every 2 weeks students will receive a JCFA-East Banking Statement. This statement includes detailed information about student absences, tardies, and banked time. Ask your student for his/her bank statement!
