Keep checking websites and social media pages

We would like to take a moment to thank all of you for your flexibility, understanding, and compassion during this unprecedented time. Franklin Central has been working very hard to make sure students have access to all they need to be successful with e-learning, while still respecting and maintaining mandates and parameters set forth by state and city officials. There are a lot of uncertainties for everyone, but information will be shared as soon as it is reliable and available.

You can always check our school's social media pages (Twitter: @FCHSPrincipal and Facebook: Franklin Central High School) for up to date information. The FTCSC website (FTCSC.org) is also very informative and contains current schedules, as well as a FAQ page; be sure to click on the COVID-19 button.

Celebrating our seniors

Like so many schools around the state and nation, Franklin Central is heartbroken about the rapid and unprecedented changes to the last half of this semester. We are still working towards a June 6th commencement ceremony, but also acutely aware that we are at the mercy of governmental mandates and venue schedules while planning for all possibilities.

In the meantime, we have ordered 700 yard signs to celebrate all of the members of the FCHS class of 2020. These are currently in the process of being printed and will be distributed and/or delivered to the homes of seniors once the shipment is received and we are cleared to do so. More information will be forthcoming as soon as it is available. Stay tuned!

Coach Kathy Stricker Softball Complex

On April 15th, a dedication ceremony was set to be held celebrating the renaming of our softball facility to the Coach Kathy Stricker Softball Complex! The cancellation of the softball season has prevented that ceremony from happening... but it doesn’t prevent us from celebrating Coach Kathy Stricker! Today we honor the only softball coach in the history of Franklin Central High School. Coach Stricker has dedicated her life to the female student-athletes of Franklin Township. Her accolades speak for themselves, and her passion for what she does is unmatched.

Honoring a fellow educator

North Central Athletic Director Paul Loggan passed away on Sunday due to complications from COVID-19. Paul was an assistant football coach here for the Flashes under Chuck Stephens. Athletic directors across the state will be turning on stadium lights at their respective schools on Monday evening from 7:00pm (kickoff time) to dawn to honor him and all he did for education and athletics. Please keep the Loggan family and the North Central community in your thoughts.
