“Life with Christ is a wonderful adventure.”
St. John Paul II
From Mr. Merrick
Dear St. Jerome Families,
I hope that you are having a pleasant spring week. We offer our congratulations to our 8th grade students who are being recognized by the Connolly Foundation with the Josephine C. Connolly Achievement Award Sean Elitz and Emma Wimsey. Sean will be attending Fr. Judge High School, and Emma will be attending St. Hubert High School.
Students have the option of wearing their summer uniform starting this coming Monday, April 19th. As a reminder, the uniform requirements are here. As the weather can fluctuate in April and May, please make sure your child has appropriate outerwear.
Reminder: There will be NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, May 4th for our annual faculty retreat. Wednesday, May 5th will be a FULL DAY of school instead of a noon dismissal. Fr. Dalin, pastor of St. Martha Parish, will be our guest presenter and confessor for the retreat.
The school calendar for the 2021-2022 school year is available below to allow you to begin to prepare for next year. We have done our best to plan so that we do not need to make any changes during the school year.
The route for the Race for Education (Thursday, April 29th) is posted below. We encourage families who live along the route to decorate their yards on the day of the race to support our students. We are also in sight of our goal! Please share the donation link or pledge sheets with your family and friends. All proceeds from the Race for Education directly benefit the students of St. Jerome School. We have been able to make some many improvements this year, and we want to continue this summer, with the support of the funds raised from the Race for Education.
We are asking for all donations to be made by Friday, April 23rd so that we can tally everything up and hopefully order the water ice. Remember, Fr. Reilly has promised to buy and scoop water ice for all of our students if we meet/exceed our goal of 20,000 (he'll even deliver Rita's Water Ice scrip for our virtual lions).
Have a great rest of the week; St. Jerome, pray for us!
St. Jerome School Yearbook 2020-2021
The yearbook is back! Celebrate all that we have accomplished at St. Jerome School this year: 64 full-color pages of memories.
Yearbooks must be preordered; all orders are due by Friday, April 30th to guarantee your order at 20.00 per book.
