Hawk Happenings!

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy

Message from the Principal - Dec. 12, 2018

Happy Wednesday!

Today was an amazing day at Holy Rosary. We had a beautiful celebration for Our Lady of Guadalupe. We began with the procession outside the church, with students carrying an incredible banner hand-painted by Ms. Jakeline Lemus with two of our children dressed as Our Lady of Guadalupe (Jimena) and Juan Diego (Tanner). We sang our way up to the auditorium/church, carrying flowers which we presented to Our Lady. After a fantastic mass done all in Spanish (led by our 4th grade class and Mrs. Farias), complete with Fr. Martin saying all of his parts in Spanish, too, we were treated to an outstanding dance performance by the Aztec dancers from Sacred Heart, led by Leanna Lara. Then, we had a Spanish choir led by Ms. Gricelda, followed by pan dulce and atole (from the Montes-Vazquez and Lemus Families) for the adults to enjoy.

Today was a perfect example of what makes out school so special. It was an amazing display of our faith in action and a way to honor special cultural traditions. Thank you to all of the families who helped make this day so wonderful!

Have a fantastic week!

Hot Deals on School Sweaters!

Since our school has switched from Dennis Uniform for our school sweaters, we were left with having to purchase some inventory with Holy Rosary Regional School stitched on the sweaters. AND...since this is the last year to wear these sweaters, we are offering parents an excellent deal. Parents can buy BRAND NEW sweaters valued at $45 for only $15. This is on a first come, first served basis. We have a pretty good inventory with a variety of sizes. If you are interested, please contact Berenice at the front desk. These sweaters may be worn for the remainder of this school year (through June 2019). That means that you still have 6 months of wear with high quality sweaters for only $15!
