Inspiring the Leader Within

Leader In Me (At Home)
Keep It Simple
Applying the principles at home will make your home life easier and happier. The key is to keep the focus simple and simply keep the focus. There are three things you can do to prepare your child for the new reality.
1. Help your child become more responsible and independent through Habits 1, 2, and 3.
2. Focus on helping your child become more interdependent through Habits 4, 5, and 6.
3. Focus on teaching and rewarding primary greatness, which is based on character and contribution, not on secondary greatness (awards, wealth, or fame).

The Weather is Getting Colder...
Written by: Bryce Pasero
...Which means our Lost & Found is getting bigger!
It's around that time, fireplaces lit, and hot cocoa being brewed, the holidays and the cold start to set in. At our recess it gets cold, so we wear our coats to keep us warm, but if we lose them, they might be gone, so put your names on jackets to keep them as yours! If you buy an aviator jacket, you can get your name sewn on it for a little extra money. This helps, and it keeps the jacket as yours. You might also want to take out that sharpie and write names on those water bottles! Stay warm, Aviators!
