Feeling Like Fall
October 7 - 11 is goal setting conference week. It's important to attend these parent teacher conferences to understand what your child will learn this year, as well as better understand teacher expectations and the important role you play in supporting your child's education at home.
We have several school events this month that I hope you can attend. It's so great to see the strong partnership between our school and our parents!!
Every Monday show your Eagle pride by wearing your school spirit wear.
Every Friday show your Eagle pride by wearing your college or university shirt!
October Character Trait
The Sonora staff, students, and parents are committed to creating a school that accepts no limits to the academic success of all students.
The book we're reading provides a researched-based nine-step plan for developing empathy. We can work together to apply these strategies to create more empathetic students and schools to build brighter futures for all kids.
Walk to School Day October 2
In partnership with the city of Costa Mesa, we will be having a Walk to School day on October 2! The meeting point will be at Angels Playground (Tewinkle Park) at 7:15 a.m. There will be policemen, firemen, and other city members walking the route with your child(ren). We hope you join in this fun event!!
