St. Patrick Shamrock Connection

Week of April 21-25

Principal's Pondering

As I write this, our Lenten journey is coming to an end. Today, Good Friday, is a day that might weigh heavily on us as we contemplate the experience of Jesus' death. Yesterday, Holy Thursday, our students watched our 5/6th graders portray the Stations of the Cross. This was a moving and meaningful experience for our students as they witnessed the treatment of Jesus in his final days.

We can find comfort in the resurrection. It brings the life of Christ full circle and gives life to our faith. We are reminded of Christ's love of us as we experience worship. As you enter in to Easter Vigil or Easter Mass, may your hearts and minds be open to experiencing God- the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in things great and small and in each other.

Happy Easter!
