Stonybrook Red Storm Forecast
March 22, 2021
From Principal Smith
Spring break has been modified this year from two weeks to one. It is the week of March 29
Students return from spring break on April 5th.
We are eagerly planning for annual ILEARN testing scheduled to occur in the State of Indiana beginning the week of April 19. Indiana Learning Evaluation Assessment Readiness Network (ILEARN) measures student achievement and growth according to Indiana Academic Standards. ILEARN is the summative accountability assessment for Indiana students and assesses the following at the middle level:
English/Language Arts (ELA) (Grades 5-8)
Mathematics (Grades 5-8)
Social Studies (Grade 5)
Science (Grade 6)
Students that receive instruction virtually must participate in ILEARN testing in person. Students may participate at their home school during the regular school day or on select Saturdays. Regardless, students would be fed both breakfast and lunch, and would be testing with only virtual students. ILEARN dates and times will be shared with you soon.
Have a wonderful week!
Mr. Smith
