Third Grade News
Room 11 on the Move
Our last week in Photos
Our last week together was filled with fun. On Tuesday, we dressed as pirates and went to the library, where the crew of each "ship" got to make their own catapult. We then put our creativity to the test and launched them across the library. Thank you, Mrs. Hutcherson, for such a great lesson in physics! That afternoon, we delighted our pre-K book buddies by showing up for a popsicle party on the play ground in full pirate regalia. Wednesday we enjoyed review games, and Thursday we walked to Star Skate. The last day of school also brought us a pizza picnic under the trees put on by our amazing parents and a great end-of-the-day party. Enjoy the pictures of all these events below, and scroll to the bottom for a good-bye message from me.
On to fourth grade!
It has been an honor to shepherd your children through third grade. They are a joy to teach, and I have loved getting to know each of them with their unique and precious personalities. I am so thankful to have been a part of this sliver of their childhood. Thank you, too, for your patience with me, your great communication, and your support of me and of your students. Monroe parents are the best. May you all have golden summers full of happy moments with your growing-up kids. Farewell ... for now!
