From your CCMR Specialist-- Ms. Schramm

My name is Carin Schramm and I am the College Career Military Readiness Specialist for Lee and ISA High Schools. I have some important information for you regarding your college readiness status. Although most IHEs (Institutes of Higher Learning) have eliminated the use of SAT/ACT scores for determining admission, these institutions need to ensure that students are capable of taking college-level courses on their campus. To make this determination, IHEs will use a student’s SAT scores. If you are a senior student and planning on attending a Texas public institution (2-year or 4-year), and your SAT or ACT score does not qualify you for an exemption, then you will need to take the TSI (Texas Success Initiative).
