It’s no secret that spending your whole life jumping from one diet to the next is not the answer to real long-lasting weight loss or health. You know. You know because you’ve been trying every single diet out there and you end up right where you started off. Or worse. With more weight than when you started.
The results are temporary at best. You exert tremendous amounts of energy and willpower only to feel exhausted, hungry and frustrated. That’s because yo-yo dieting is not a complete, holistic solution. Its sole purpose is to deprive you—whether by cutting calories; fats or portions.

What exactly is a cleanse and why do I need to do one?
Cleanses are important because they’re focused around releasing the toxins your body absorbs from your day-to-day interactions with the world around you.
We’re constantly bombarded with toxins.
They’re in the air we breathe; the foods we eat; the cookware we cook with; the household cleaners we clean with; the water we drink. They can even be found in our beauty products: makeup, lotions, shampoo, hair dyes, perfume.

It was a cleanse that transformed my life from the inside out.
I wasn’t exactly UNhealthy, but I’d packed on several kilos after my pregnancy (years before) that wouldn’t budge, and felt depressed and unmotivated most days. In fact, I could hardly muster the energy to get out of bed in the mornings.
I felt like a robot, just going through the motions.
The highlight of my day was my afternoon nap (which says a lot about what my life looked like back then).
But I remember how, after eliminating toxins and allergens from my diet, I slept deeply for the first time in years. I woke up without pressing the “snooze” button and actually felt happy to be awake. Over time, I grew too slim for my skinny clothes, and I no longer had to nap in the afternoons.

How is this cleanse different from other cleanses out there?
This is about supporting you as you lose weight and cleansing your body in a safe and natural way. That means we’ll eliminate trigger foods to give your body a rest, and then reintroduce foods carefully to see how your body reacts. This way, you’ll learn which foods are beneficial for you to eat. We’ll also empower you to incorporate what you’ve learned into your daily life and help you carve out time for yourself on a regular basis. (Because you deserve no less.)
Will I be starving?
This program is not about starving or depriving you, and it’s not about counting calories. There are recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — and even snacks in between. Each delicious meal was created by a fabulous chef in order to nourish your body from the inside out and ensure you feel satisfied with every bite.
Can I still work out?
Please do! If you feel tired or have low energy, exercising restores both of those. During this program, you’ll be eating protein and drinking plenty of liquids, so if you’re already exercising, there’s no reason to stop! Although it is important to note that, whenever you change the foods you eat, your body changes as well. Please talk to your doctor if you have any specific concerns about your health.
Which proteins will I be eating?
You’ll start with plant-based protein and move on to animal-based proteins, which will be listed out for you in your recipes and suggested meals. There are so many “clean eating protein sources” to choose from, I guarantee you won’t get bored with your options!
Am I only going to be drinking juices or smoothies?
No. While there ARE some juices and smoothies for you to choose from, you’ll also be eating salads, soups, and even desserts that are delicious, nutritious, and will eliminate toxins in your body in a safe and natural way.
Do I have to take supplements, pills and powders?
Not in this program. The ONLY supplement I recommend that everyone take on a daily basis is a probiotic, and you’ll learn why in this program.
Can I do this if I’m nursing or pregnant?
If you’re nursing, I recommend that you add at least 4-6 ounces of protein at lunch and dinner, boost your morning smoothie with scoop flax seeds or bee pollen, and eat snacks in between meals.
Make sure you consume extra fat and drink enough liquids. This program does not include any detox-provoking agents, but again, please consult with your doctor prior to starting this program if you have any health concerns.
Will I feel weak during this program?
Ultimately, you’re going to feel strong and energized. But in the beginning, your body may go through a “healing phase” to re-balance and let go of its toxicity. It’s important to listen to your body throughout this program, and I’ll be here to support you with that. I’ll guide you step by step through exactly what can be done to reduce any unwanted symptoms that may appear. This program is completely flexible and designed to help you figure out what works for YOU.
I don’t eat gluten or dairy. How can this program help me?
Many people who eat clean can still benefit from an elimination diet. Changing up the foods we eat gives our digestion time to rest and reset, which can be helpful for anyone — regardless of their current eating habits.
What side effects might I experience?
Some people go through this program and feel nothing but energized, while others may feel tired or light-headed as their bodies eliminate and let go of unnecessary toxins. The experience will differ from one person to the next, but this program is designed with that in mind, and you’ll have access to all the tools you need to keep any unwanted symptoms at bay.
I have a known medical condition. Is this program still safe for me?
While this program is based on eating whole foods only, I still recommend you consult your physician before beginning this or any program.
