A Message from Administration

Whittier Families and Friends,

Welcome back! It's 2018! We hope everyone had a relaxing and joyful break. We are so happy to be back at school learning and working with our staff, students and families. As we reflect back on 2017, we are also grateful for all of our families and community partners who helped make the 2017 year an extra special one for Whittier. We look forward to continued collaboration with our families and partners and are excited to see what the new year will bring, especially our new school!

As always, please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions, concerns or feedback.

Construction Update!

A lot happened over winter break!

Most of the storm water beds, vaults and piping are in and covered for the site. The building pad is built and compacted to sub-grade. The construction crew is now digging the trenches for the footings and foundations. Either this week or next, the foundation walls will be poured and once this happens, we will be able to see just how large the new building is and where it will be located on the site.

The construction crew is really happy that this has been a great winter to pour the concrete footings and foundations. The weather has been in Whittier's favor. Let's hope it stays that way!

The Whittier Staff would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTO!

The PTO has been working hard this year to raise funding for the McCall Outdoor Science School (MOSS) and the Whittier FĂștbol Club. Thanks to the efforts of many individuals, fundraising efforts have been a great success!

We realize we could not do all this without the support of our families and community. We appreciate all of the efforts made on behalf of our school. Our students benefit tremendously!

The Whittier Family would like to extend a SHOUT OUT and THANK YOU to Papa John's, Boise Fry Company, La Creme Frozen Yogurt, Beniton Construction, and LKV Architects for their tremendous generosity! Their thoughtfulness and kindness is helping to send our 6th graders to MOSS and scholarship students who want to play in our soccer club. We are really blessed!!
