About Me...
I'm Amelia and I graduated from St StephensSchool in 2015 where I was School Captain and Vice Music Captain.
My Passions...
During my time at school I undertook many opportunities to travel with a Music Tour to China and a school mission trip to Malaysia. The school mission trip was based at a school called Bethany Home designed for physically and mentally disabled children and adults. I spent two weeks there helping and teaching the students.
I have always wanted to be a primary school teacher to influence and make a difference in the education department. Studying at the University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle allows for me to undertake a Bachelor of Primary Education specialising in special needs and in the future to complete my Masters in Education.
I have had experience in teaching children through my church. I planned and delivered lessons, games and activities for children aged three to thirteen.
I currently work as a tutor where I go into a year 2 boy's classroom and tutor him one on one while his teacher teachers the rest of the class. I am also a nanny for two children one day a week, i pick them up from school and stay with them until there parents get home from work. Previously I have worked in a junior position at a bakery for 2 years.
