Family Newsletter

November 3, 2021

Dear St. Anne Parents,

One of our parents just notified us that Walgreens locations in SF have already begun offering appointments online for child Pfizer vaccine doses for ages 5-11 as early as next Tuesday now that FDA/CDC have both approved it. CVS is also geared up to begin offering vaccinations. I would encourage everyone to try to set up an appointment for your child(ren). The sooner we get everyone vaccinated, the sooner we can see our world return to some semblance of normal. This is a good time to thank all of you again, for your support and follow through helping to keep all our students and families safe and healthy during this pandemic time. We all appreciate your efforts.

GRANDPARENTS' DAY 2022??? Yes or No???

We are hoping to host another Grandparents' Day event for our grandparents this year on Wednesday, February 2. Before we begin planning for this day, we wanted to get some input from you. Below is a survey asking whether or not your mother and/or father would be attending this event should we host it. Here is an overview of what would be happening during this event. The day consists of grandparents arriving at school around 11:15 and gathering in the library where at 11:30 their grandchildren will pick them up and bring them to their classroom for a whole class/grandparent activity. Family pictures are taken as a keepsake for the day during this time also. Around 12:25 our grandparents and their grandchildren go up to Moriarty Hall for a sit-down lunch. There is a little entertainment during lunch and the event concludes around 2:00. This survey will help us make a decision as to whether or not our grandparents want to attend this event this year. Please fill out the survey by Friday, Nov. 5. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you.
