STAR WARS Reads Day
The NPES Learning Commons is excited to join LMES, LES, OGES, and MGES in participating in Star Wars READS Day for the 5th year in a row! Star Wars READS Day is Saturday, October 8 11am - 1pm at Books-A-Million in Lexington. There will be costumed characters, story time, door prizes, and MORE!
EVERYONE is encouraged to dress up as their favorite Star Wars character AND the first 5 Lions who show up get a FREE t-shirt!
Read Your Way to the Big Game
Students are challenged to read six reading-level appropriate books to qualify for a chance at the grand prize: 4 tickets to the USC vs Clemson game, sideline passes and pre-game activities! Reading logs were sent home with students and can be returned by October 19th.
Fall Festival
Please join us for a night of fun for the entire family at our annual Fall Festival on Friday, October 28th from 5pm-8pm at the school! There will be games, pony rides, bucket rides, inflatables, a game truck and carnival rides for the kids that require a wristband for children ages 5 and up. You’ll be able to purchase a pumpkin to take home and carve just in time for trick-or-treating (pumpkin proceeds will go towards Relay for Life). There will also be some new food vendors this year that you won’t want to miss!
