Health Dept Guidance for Schools
August 19, 2020
Dear Families,
Just a quick mid-week message to make sure the most recent guidance from the Indiana State Department of Health is on your radar and well understood. I’m not going to try paraphrasing the official guidance ZCS follows, but I hope to direct your attention to the two ISDH documents below that are of critical importance to parents this fall. I ask that everyone review both of the documents and pay close attention to the wording on the second image below. We appreciate your support as we strive to keep our school doors open through our layered approach to mitigating virus spread.
Please note, we have adjusted the second health question on our daily student screener to reflect the guidance from ISDH. Please continue to complete student screeners PRIOR to school arrival.
Your partner in education,
Tom
Daily Student Screener
Before your child enters the school building, you will need to complete this daily screener. This will need to be completed EVERY MORNING. The QR code and the hotlink below provides direct access.
We attached a QR Code on your child's backpack tag. In addition, we sent home additional hard copies of QR codes and have it attached here as well.
- Strategically place the QR code someplace visible at your home and make it part of your morning routine.
- You may also want to bookmark the screener on your computer or phone.
- Copy and paste the screener link into your phone calendar.
