Resurrection-St. Paul School
Encounter Christ's Presence - Year of the Eucharist
October 31st, 2021
Dear RSPS Families,
It's hard to believe that it is already Halloween! As we get closer to the end of the first trimester (11/23), please continue checking PowerSchool and Google Classroom as well as communicating with your student's teacher. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our teachers if you have questions about what is going on in the classroom or what should be going on at home. We want to partner with you and be able to provide the best support possible for the success of your child(ren).
A huge thank you to the HSA and all of the room parents who volunteered their time helping to make the Halloween parties a fun affair. As you can imagine, a day like Friday is a teacher's worst nightmare -- a rainy day + indoor recess + candy + Halloween -- but the room parents stepped up big time and the day couldn't have turned out better. Thank you to all who sent in treats, supplies, made costumes, and helped in any way make the day a great success!
As you prepare for your Halloween festivities, please join us in prayer asking God to protect everyone this evening.
Prayer for Halloween
God of Laughter and Joy,
We turn to You in the way of our ancient ancestors, grateful for the abundance of food and festivity that surrounds us at this time of year.
Keep all children safe as they embark on their Halloween revels.
Light their way through the dark night and enfold them in love.
May the real treat in their lives be grace that multiplies in depth and breadth as they grow older.
We pray this will all the saints in heaven.
Amen.
Have a fun and safe All Hallows Eve!
Sincerely,
Ryan Hellem
Principal
