Class News 12-18-2015
The 4th and 5th grade WIN groups have been super busy the past 6 weeks and many have finished their book clubs. We plan on showing the books that have been turned into movies on Monday after lunch. The movies are: Tuck Everlasting, Old Yeller and Indian in the Cupboard. Students may bring in a pillow and a small blanket as well as snacks. Popcorn and hot chocolate will be provided.
The classroom holiday party will be on Tuesday, December 22 in the afternoon. In addition, the fifth grade will be swimming on Tuesday, December 22. Please send a suit, towel, and flip flops. We will provide additional plastic bags for wet clothes and to clean out our lockers/desks.
THE HOLIDAY PARTY WILL BE FROM 12:15-1PM.
As we wind down for break, we would love to see your student continue enhancing their skills. Students have been encouraged to take several reading books home for the break. Also continuing mastery of multiplication would be a plus, since after break we will be multiplying whole numbers, decimals, fractions and then jumping into division.
If you did not get emailed your student's progress report/report card, please contact the teacher.
PS..Gum has been found on the playground, therefore, until kids earn it back through earning the letters to spell WUNDERBAR, gum will not be allowed in fifth grade.
