Technology Applications Coming Soon

The District Technology Committee met today to review Year 1 Action Plan and develop next steps for Year 2. Part of this will include determining who would like devices for Year 2. Many of you shared this interest with me, and I shared this during our most recent Leadership Meeting. In the coming week, Tim will also be sending out a formal application. If you are interested in devices for the coming year, please look for the application to be coming out soon.

District Walkthrough, Facilities Walkthrough and Demo Lessons This Week

This week, we will be having our March District Walkthrough. In addition, the District and School Board will be on campus on Wednesday for their annual visit to review our facilities and determine priorities for summer work. We will also be hosting several demo lessons this week for potent hires for next year. Please feel free to welcome our special guests this week.

CAST Referrals

If you have any students who you think would be great candidates for the CAST intervention group that will meet during Period 5 and lunch two days a week, please submit a yellow referral form to my box by Wednesday. We will be meeting with Gus soon to review potential candidates, and he will be meeting with students on Friday to overview the program with students.

Congratulations to our Choir Program

I wanted to congratulate The Wilson Middle School Choir Program and Kirk Clague for their SUPERIOR rating at CMEA Festival in Visalia this past week. What an awesome achievement!

Career Fair

I want to thank Justine, Cheryl, and Sandy for all of their planning and preparation for the Career Fair. I was able to attend for a short period of time, and I felt that students were enjoying the presentations. I loved seeing the students all dressed up. Thank you to Yesenia and Noel who presented that day as well.

Warrior Fun Day

I want to celebrate a successful Warrior Fun Day on Friday. We survived the rain, and I feel that because of the rain, students enjoyed the indoor activities even more. Thank your for your participation in the activities. It was awesome to see you enjoying the time with the students. The TTT classrooms were all structured, well-prepared, and students were well-behaved.
