From School Administration

The first quarter is far behind us now, and we are at the midpoint of the second quarter. With the completion of each quarter, we spend a considerable amount of time reflecting upon our teaching practices, our student's progress, and their performance overall. This is done during grade-level team data conversations, classroom teacher reflections, and school improvement meetings. A variety of assessments were administered during the first quarter. We are rich in data points to help us adjust and drive instruction. Below, I've included some data points from the end of the first quarter in the snapshot and PDF called Measures That Matter. You can read the image or download the PDF below. While we are very proud of our student's progress in the first quarter, we have a lot of work to do so all students meet or exceed grade-level standards this year. We are thrilled to have such an incredible home-school connection as a school. Parent-teacher conferences last month helped strengthen that connection so we can collectively work together so our students can meet their goals. Our students' futures are bright with the incredible support and resources we have around them.

I look forward to seeing them progress the rest of this school year!

Mr. Cosentino, Principal

Keep Family File Up-To-Date

Recently, we have had several situations where we have been trying to reach parents and found that either their voice mailbox was full or not set up receive messages. We also have several cases where the emergency number(s) we have on file is/are no longer in service.

We would appreciate it if you could take a moment and make sure of the following:

  1. Please have a voice mailbox in place that can receive messages. If need be, please clear the messages in your mailbox so that your mailbox can receive new notifications.
  2. Please take a moment and update any emergency numbers that may need to be updated in Family File.

This is very important, especially if we have an unscheduled emergency closing.

Labels fundraiser

Need labels? The PTA will receive 20% of proceeds if you elect to purchase these using this link: https://www.namebubbles.com/?rfsn=6990970.50f282

Our family uses this brand and I can confirm they are dishwasher safe - I like to create a small one with our last name and a cell phone number so I can use for both kids and receive texts locating our many wandering water bottles.

(If you leave the site and return to it later, remember you will have to use the above link to navigate to ensure your purchase counts.
