Meet your Principals
Christine Gibson grew up in West Texas, El Paso. I lived in one house my entire childhood and my parents land line phone number is the same it was during my childhood. In other news, I love to vacation with my family. I love to visit the beach - any beach! My goal in the upcoming years is to travel to places I have always wanted to visit and enjoy new adventures.
My name is Marina De Garcia and I was born in El Salvador, but lived in California before moving to Texas. I was the high school cheerleading captain my senior year. I love street tacos, shoes, and the beach! I enjoy spending time with my two boys and my husband. I have a dog named Toko and two parakeets. A place I would like to travel to is England. I love anything British, especially Queen Victoria.
My name is Marnie Richardson and I have lived all over the country: Missouri, Maryland, Illinois, Wisconsin, Kansas, California, and Texas. I went to three different high schools, in three different states and lettered at each one in swimming. My passions include growing plants, raising my two and four legged children, glamping at any lake or river, reading, and spending time with my family. One of my goals this year is to renovate and marble my bathroom, on my own.

iCode Courses Offered On The Prestwick STEM Campus
The Foundation Belt is for students in the grades K-3. Students learn computer skills, game development, computational thinking, digital logic and encryption algorithms. Students also develop important mental skills such as problem solving, pattern matching and abstract thinking—they build critical 21st Century STEAM skills that they will use for a lifetime.
(Grades K-3)
The White Belt introduces students to computer science topics including programming, robotics and software design, with an introduction to decomposing and debugging existing code. This robust mix of curriculum lays a strong foundation for students pursuing future Belts while teaching problem solving and independent thinking.
(Grades 3-5)
The Yellow Belt teaches students how to create simple websites using HTML, with an analytical approach to problem solving, and an understanding of the basics of mobile development using MIT's App Inventor and a more in-depth understanding of robotics.
(Students that have already taken previous belts)
The Orange Belt focuses on web development, understanding of Algorithms, and an introduction to RPi. At the end of the sprint students are required to create a medium complexity website that focuses on integrating all aspects of Web Development HTLM, CSS, PHP and Databases.
(Grades 4-8)
