IREAD-3 Summer Re-Test Guidance for Student that Transfer into Your Corporation
Follow the steps outlined below for students transferring into your corporation after the last day of the 2018-2019 school year. This applies to students in grades 3, 4, and 5 who have NOT passed IREAD-3 and allows the receiving corporation to access the student in TIDE.
Student Enrolling Prior to July 1, 2019:
- Utilize the RT or EM input form area in the STN Application Center to submit a one day entry/exit record on the last day of your school calendar for the 2018-2019 school year.
- Submit exit code 50 for the one day record.
- Submit the accurate grade level for the 2018-2019 school year, not the grade level at which the student will be enrolled for the 2019-2020 school year.
Student Enrolling on or after July 1, 2019:
- Contact STN Support at https://help.doe.in.gov or 317-232-0808 to have the student included in the nightly feed to AIR. When submitting a ticket please provide the STN, Corporation and School number where the student is to be assessed.
ISTEP+ Grade 10 Summer Re-Test Guidance
Students who transfer into your corporation and will be assessed prior to the first day of your 2019-2020 school calendar:
- These students may be tested at any time during the Summer 2019 assessment window.
- NOTE: Due to vendor change to AIR, all ISTEP+ Grade 10 Summer Retest assessments will be a paper and pencil administration and will therefore require printing of labels.
- CTC/STC personnel will not be able to print testing labels until the first 2019-2020 RT/EM file is submitted.
- Any other questions regarding ISTEP+ Grade 10 Retest assessments should be directed to local CTCs and STCs.
