Vista Stake Primary News
A Message from our Stake Primary President
I am very humbled to have the opportunity to serve you and to get to know each and everyone of you. I am in awe of the dedication and love you all have for the children you serve. You serve with all your hearts and work together as one. We, as the Vista Stake Primary Presidency, are here for you. We want you to feel and know we are here to help and support you in any way we can. Together we can achieve the purpose of Primary, which is to help the children:
1. Feel Heavenly Father's love for them.
2. Learn and understand the gospel of Jesus Christ.
3. Feel and recognize the influence of the Holy Ghost.
4. Prepare to make and keep sacred covenants.
Together we can do this. We love and support you all and from the bottom of my heart I say thank you for everything you all do. As we have a new Presidency we want to briefly introduce ourselves to you.
My name is Wendy McDonald I am in the Fallbrook 5th ward. We have been in the Vista Stake for 15 years and love it. My hubby, Patrick, and I have four kids, Nathan(20) serving a mission in Chile, Jake (17) a junior, Megan (14) a freshman, and Jared (12) a sixth grader. We enjoy camping with our family and going to our sporting events. I teach first grade at Bonsall Elementary and am team mom for Fallbrook Pop Warner Football team. I love working in my back yard and plan to try to cook dinner every night for my family. That one is hard for me. I love Primary and the sweet strong spirits these children have and can't ask for a better calling. Love you all and take care.

Meet Linda Marin, 2nd counselor
Let me introduce myself- my name is Herlinda Marin, my friends and family call me Linda. My family and I attend the Vista 1st ward. My husband is Israel Marin and we have 5 wonderful children, between ages 17-6. We just celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary and we have lived in the Vista Stake those short 19 years. Most of the time you will find me doing one of my tasks , or multi tasking from a list that I'm sure we all have going on in our busy lives as a stay home mom, wife, secretary, a chef, a chauffeur. I enjoy serving others, baking -to reduce stress and crafting. I feel very humble to have been called to serve my Heavenly Father's children here in our stake and thank you all for your sustaining vote. I have complete confidence that our Heavenly Father will strengthen me and be there for me every step of the way as I strive to do my best to serve you and the children in our stake. I know that each of us, primary leaders have a wonderful opportunity to help all the young children develop firm faith in our savior as their testimonies develop. If there is anything I can do to support you in your calling, please let me know. I look forward to meeting each of you and the wonderful children in your wards.
Your sister in the gospel,
Linda Marin
