Scholarships for Academic Excellence (SAE)
Pending the appropriation of State funds by the New York State Legislature, 8,000 scholarships will be awarded for students graduating in 2021. The Scholarships for Academic Excellence (SAE) provide high school students that are the top student(s) in their respective high school at the end of their junior year with a scholarship to attend an institution of higher education located in New York State.
High Schools must complete and submit their Nomination Summary Form and Application Form(s) to the New York State Education Department no later than May 14, 2021.

RCSD Student Selected for Scholarship to Learn Overseas in ’21 – ‘22
Tiketa Thomas, a sophomore at Rochester Early College, has been selected to receive a 2021 – 22 National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) scholarship. This U.S. government overseas language program will allow Ms. Thomas to study abroad in Taiwan learning Mandarin Chinese and the diverse culture of Asia. Click here to learn more.
