Student Absences Related to COVID
If you test positive for COVID-19:
1. Stay home and isolate for at least 5 days.
2. You calculate your isolation from the first full day after your symptoms develop or your test specimen was collected.
3. Ending isolation after five full days if you are fever free without the use of fever reducing medication.
4. It is recommended that you wear a well-fitting mask for the next five days.
Tuscumbia City Schools procedure allows the students to use one home test for COVID-19 positive. All other COVID-19 positives must come from a medical provider.
ACT Information
The state of Alabama provides online ACT practice for these students. This is an online program that students can complete at any time. It includes at least one full length practice test and mini assessments.
If you would like your Junior to have access to this review, please complete the Google Form linked below. After you complete the form, Ms. Almon will provide your student with their log-in information.
In addition to this resource, Juniors will begin an ACT Bootcamp next week during REACH. Three days a week, students will go during REACH to an assigned teacher to practice different aspects of the ACT test in preparation for the test that will be given in March.
