Winter Home Events on The Saber Roar YouTube Channel

Our Winter sports are in full swing. Home events are limited to four spectators for the home team (no visiting team spectators). All spectators need to be registered in advance by the player and each spectator must present an ID at the entry table.

Home events are live streamed on The Saber Roar YouTube Channel. You are able to view events after the live stream at the same locaton. Away events are live streamed based on the host school's technology preference - check the host school's athletic website for details.

The test is open to all sophomores and juniors on a first come first serve basis. Students will receive a sign up invitation in their email on Wednesday, January 5th. Space is strictly limited! Please reach out to Diane Gilroy or your student's counselor with any questions.

CATCH UP ON DISTRICT NEWS

Please be sure to read the newest District Newsletter that comes out now every Friday. You can access all the issues here.

Snow/Cold Day Information

As shared in last Friday’s District Newsletter here, Franklin Public Schools will treat Snow/Cold Days as “No School Days” this year. When a decision is made to cancel school due to inclement weather, we will work to notify families before 6am. The following are the ways we communicate the closing and where you can expect to see information:

  • Parents and Staff will be sent an email and phone call alert.

  • Students will be sent an email at their @franklinsabers.org account (4K, 5K, & up through 12th grade)

  • Closing information will be posted to our district and school webpages (in the “News” feeds).

  • Closing information will be posted to our district social media channels (be sure to like or follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram if you don’t already!).

  • Closing information will be shared with local media so that our information is included in the weather updates that occur on local news.

  • Staff note: In some circumstances, there may be situations where district staff are required to or asked to report to the buildings and this would be communicated from a direct supervisor or through our internal email.

Community Ed & Rec Winter Guide

The Community Ed & Recreation Department Winter Guide is now online! Check out all the programming we are offering! Registration is now open. Head to our website here where you can click on the Registration Guide to view our offerings OR jump right to the Registration Site to sign up! Please help us to share and pass this on to others!

Registration for 2021-2022 is Now Open!

Our registration is now open for next school year for new families to the district and next year’s 4K. You can find all necessary details on our website here. Please note that students already enrolled in our schools do not have to have a new registration complete. Please help us share that registration is open with any new families to the area or those with younger children that would be entering 4K or 5K! Thank you!
