Phase 1 Hybrid Information
March 15th - April 1st
Preparing for the First Day of Hybrid - Monday, March 15th:
The first day of Hybrid is almost here! We are very excited to welcome students back to the building. We are committed to providing a great experience for all of our students and families, whether they are transitioning to Hybrid or remaining in full-time distance learning (622 Online).
How the hybrid schedule works:

How do different groups (Group A, Group B, and 622 Online) work?
Group A students attend school two days a week on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:30 to 1:30. Participate in school virtually for the remainder of the week.
Group B students attend school two days a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 1:30. Participate in school virtually for the remainder of the week.
622 Online students participate in full-time distance learning and do not attend school in-person. Online students should attend classes virtually via Zoom/engage in school work from 7:30 to 1:30.
The first day of Hybrid instruction for Group A students is Monday, March 15th.
The first day of Hybrid instruction for Group B students is Wednesday, March 17th.

What does each day of the week look like for each group in the Hybrid Model?
Mondays (Periods 1- 3) and Tuesdays (Periods 4-6):
Group A students: Attend school from 7:30 to 1:30. Engage in live instruction with their teachers. All lessons are still posted to Schoology. Targeted student support from 11:45 to 1:30.
Group B students: Attend classes virtually via Zoom/engage in school work from 7:30 to 11:45. All lessons are posted to Schoology. Teachers will be available for targeted support via Zoom from 11:45 to 1:30.
622 Online students: Attend classes virtually via Zoom/engage in school work from 7:30 to 11:45. All lessons are posted to Schoology. Teachers will be available for targeted support via Zoom from 11:45 to 1:30.

622 Online students: Attend classes virtually via Zoom/engage in school work from 7:30 to 11:45. All lessons are posted to Schoology. Teachers will be available for targeted support via Zoom from 11:45 to 1:30.
Fridays (Periods 1-6):
Group A, B, 622 Online Students: All students engage in asynchronous (independent) learning. Targeted support is available from 10:30 - 1:30.
Important Hybrid Logistical Information
Families must screen their child/children daily before sending them to school. Here is a link to the ISD 622 Home Screening Tool. The building will open at 7:15 AM. The building will close at 1:45 PM. Students scheduled to attend school on hybrid days will be marked absent if they are not physically present at school. Students learning virtually should complete the attendance check-in for each class in Schoology as they have been all year. If your child is absent for any reason, please call the attendance line at 651-748-6500 We will serve breakfast in the classroom and lunch in the cafeteria. Students can also bring their own lunch. Social distancing is required. Face coverings/masks are required to be worn properly at all times, except when eating and drinking. Here is a link to the ISD 622 Face Covering Policy. Students should bring their school supplies in a backpack or bag each day. Please have your child bring their district-issued computer and charger, headphones, notebook, and writing utensils. We will not be using lockers; students will bring bags and jackets to class. Hallways will be one way to reduce congestion and help maintain social distancing. Students should make sure their laptops are charged, bring their laptops and chargers to school, and headphones if possible. Students should bring a water bottle from home. We have bottle filling stations for students, but the drinking fountains will be unavailable. When possible, teachers will take students outside and keep windows open. Please encourage your child to dress appropriately for the weather.
