Review
The story, really, is quite simple. A girl named Mia and her family get into a car crash, Mia barely survives, is taken to ICU and friends and family surround her with love and affection and hope she gets better. While this is going on, Mia is having some sort of out-of-body experience where she witnesses everything that’s going on the hospital. Mia as a main character felt pretty lifeless to me. I thought that there was no rising action, no climax, and the resolution was obvious from page 1. There were some parts that were really sad but the book overall was okay to me.
