I Station
Istation is up and running. Please talk to your students about the importance of doing their very best when they take their monthly assessments. For BYO, the district will only count the September assessment. You are encouraged to use the last week of August to practice with your students, so they know what to expect when they take the September assessment. Kindergartners only will take their BOY assessment in October. Let Samia Rutherford know if you need to have a student removed from your class roster, but remember that only the district can add new students to Istation. Let Samia know If you have any other questions about Istation.
Thank you, Mrs. Valdes
GOLDEN PONIES
As you may have seen on the Pony News Network, we have begun the GOLDEN PONIES Program. Any staff member in the building may give a Golden Pony to a class when you see the entire class being respectful and/or responsible (our character traits for this 6 weeks). We will have some extras in the Counselors' Suite and will try to keep a supply in the workroom, as well! The counselors will have a special reward for the entire class when they earn 10 Golden Ponies. This year, we also have a ‘trophy’ that will be passed to each class as they earn their 10 Golden Ponies. The class will keep the trophy until another class earns 10! Last year, Ms. Paris’ class was the first class to earn their 10 Golden Ponies…who will it be this year? :-)

Car Dismissal Reminders
Car dismissal is getting better and quicker! Yeah! We need students to come out quickly and begin looking for their cars. Our goal is to keep the traffic flowing so if you see the cars are moving or a gap in in spaces 1-6 please don't load.
- Please make sure all students are at a Level 0 will waiting to be dismissed. We need them to be listening for their names as well.
- For K-1 students, it would be awesome if their first names could be written on their yellow backpack tags. This will help us get them to their cars.
