NO HOMEWORK THIS WEEK!
Because this was a short, busy week, there was not a homework assignment that went out – please keep reading with your student~
Setting Goals for Success
Students are working on personal goals each day in addition to class commitments. This will allow students to focus on their own best practices and positive contributions to the whole group.
THE BOOK FAIR IS BACK!
The Book Fair opens back up this week. It will be open on Thursday night to coincide with our STEAM Night. We will do a preview of the fair this week and it will run through next Friday (the 10th). There will be a lollipop bush to raise money for future updates to our media center and makerspace! 50 cents buys a lollipop and a chance to win a Book Fair prize!
BUDDIES
This week we worked on cards for the principals to help celebrate Principal’s Day. We hand-delivered the cards. Some of the buddy pairs also assisted in creating a banner to thank Hy-Vee for their donations to our upcoming Grandfriend Breakfast celebration.
Dr. Seuss Day!
Thursday our class will be doing a variety of activities to celebrate the life of Theodore Geisel. His birthday was on March 2nd. In addition, there is a district-wide celebration called Seuss Madness in which students across the district are listening to books read by district participants and voting on their favorites. We will keep you posted on results! J
Continuing Kindness
Our interactive kindness board is now up – an email went out to staff to share with students about adding to it.
