School-wide Tutoring Every Wednesday
Need some extra help, make plans to come in early as teachers will be offering school wide tutoring on Wednesday's throughout the year
Early Release Conferences | Semester 1 day 1/2
On October 24th and 25th students will be released at approximately 1:15 in the afternoon for the 1st of two Early Release dates. On October 24th, Teachers will be holding conferences with parents of students who are at risk academically for the 1st semester. Parents will be notified by your student's teacher if a conference is necessary. Not all parents will be able to meet with teachers on October 24th. If you do not have a scheduled conference, but would like to meet to discuss your student's progress, please contact your child's homeroom teacher and another date and time can be scheduled.

United Way Campaign Fund Raiser
Pay $2 and wear your favorite College Hat. Students can pay a teacher on their team during the week and on the day.

Who is YOUR Superhero? Come dressed as that person who inspires you to be the best you can be!
COSTUME DAY
Happy Halloween! Pay $3 can come in costume. No Masks, Face Paint or Horror Costumes.
JERSEY DAY
Wear your Favorite Team Jersey and show your "TEAM SPIRIT"

Fall Picture Make-ups
Students who were absent or if a students eyes were closed in the first sitting will have make-ups done on the 30th.
November 2nd
Pep Rally & Pie in the Face
Get Ready for the Longhorn Basketball Season! Pep rally during connections and on student fro each grade level will win the opportunity to throw a pie in a teacher's face. See hallway adds for information. Proceeds benefit the Lanier Middle School United Way Campaign.
Nov. 6th | Election Day
Student/Teacher holiday. students will return to school on Wednesday, November 7th.

In an ongoing effort for better communication, you will find a link to a google slide that you can use to see when buses arrive at Lanier for the afternoon dismissal. If you are inclined, you can use the free Google Slides App from the App store or Google Play

You can find all the available applications at the bottom of any page of the LMS website (See image below). Please take advantage of these tools as they allow us to push information out to you in the most timely way. School Messenger is an extremely important tool we use to send our e-blasts as well as text messages (as warranted). If you have not opted in to receive text messages you can do so at any time by texting "Yes" to 67587 on your cell phone. Teachers will still use the Remind application for their particular classrooms.
