OMS Families,

Last weekend, Groundhog Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early spring, and we're ready for it! We are hoping for more sunshine like today.

Thank you to the PTA's Every Owl Counts committee for planning our first bilingual family event. We appreciate all the families who were able to attend!

Just as a reminder, parent-teacher conferences are next week. Students are in attendance Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Classroom Valentine's Day parties will be on Wednesday afternoon, February 12th. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday and Friday for parent-teacher conferences.

Author Visit: Saadia Faruqi

Our OMS PTA is sponsoring an author visit for all students by author Saadia Faruqi, on Monday, February 24. Ms. Faruqi will be telling about her experiences of growing up in Pakistan and will share her journey as a writer. She is the author of the popular Yasmin series.
