Wildcat Roar

Summer Edition - 8.6.22

Thank You for Everything, Mr. Steve!

The Wildcat Family lost a loved one last week with the passing of Mr. Steve Sullivan.

Not only did Mr. Steve help keep things rolling around here, he took great care of our people (students, staff, and visitors) as well. He was the head of our Custodial/Maintenance Crew and worked at Slater for the past 20 years. We are thankful for his time, dedication, and the impact that he made.

Please keep his home and school families in your thoughts.

One for All

There will be a parent/athlete meeting on August 8th at 6:00pm for all students in JH/HS playing ANY sport for the 22-23 School Year. (Location TBA - we'll send an alert on Monday.)

All JH/HS coaches will be present to discuss practice schedules, review the athletic handbook, and share team expectations for the upcoming school year.

We'll see you there!

Time for Registration!

School Registration will take place on Wednesday, August 10 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm in the School Library.

Please bring the following:

  • Proof of Residency (tax receipt, utility bill, etc.)
  • Updated Shot Records (Seniors will need the MCV4 immunization, per State law.)
  • Student Insurance Information (if different since last year)

If you'd rather complete the registration forms beforehand, you can fill out BOTH of the files below. When you finish the forms, you can save them and email them to Mrs. Tristen Eddy (teddy@slaterschools.net) or me (jclements@slaterschools.net) Easy peasy! We'll still need to receive a copy of your proof of residency and updated medical/insurance info (if applicable).

New Asphalt

Parking Spot Painting

If you earned a reserved parking spot for the 22-23 school year, you are able to paint your parking space. However, we're going to hold off on that until some repair and resealing work is complete. That date is TBA.

Painted Parking Spot information and contracts will be available at Registration.

Stay tuned!
