Learning Extensions at HOME:
-Be on the lookout for the MOON BAG! Each child gets a turn to be the official "moon watcher" for the night. Thank you for taking your child outside that night to observe the moon and then returning the bag & all the materials the next day!
-When reading at home with your child be sure to talk to your child about "5 finger retelling" at home. Elements they should include when retelling a story to you are: characters, setting, beginning, middle (problem if there is one), and end (solution if there is one).
-Here is a fun you tube video to go along with our math objective on comparing numbers. Enjoy watching and singing along to this catchy tune at home with your little mathematician: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6Efzu2slaI

* Your child should always have a book in their backpack to read during the morning arrival time and/or during the dismissal time.
* First Grade lunch time is 10:51-11:21!!
* Please continue to practice your child's LUNCH NUMBER and CAR RIDER NUMBER at home. Students should be able to have these numbers memorized. We will continue to practice at school and appreciate your help at home!!
