Exposing the US Government
The truth behind the lies
Why are the Japanese-Americans in Internment Camps?
An explanation probably would be helpful to begin; during the time of World War II, the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. Thus causing the US Government to no longer trust the Japanese living in America, therefore they sent them away to internment camps around the globe. This isolated the Japanese and allowed the US Government to poison the minds of other Americans while they were gone. Here I'll show you...
Fantasy vs. Reality
The US Government portrayed the Japanese-Americans to be enjoying themselves in the internment camps, when in reality they were being forced behind barbed wire fences and being shown in an inhumane manner.
Get Behind the Fence
The US Government staged the emotions of the Japanese-Americans, when in reality they were suppressing the opinions of them by shoving them behind barbed-wire fences in the freezing cold winter.
US Government: 2 Japanese-Americans: 0
Not only did the US Government make a nationwide video that tries to falsely show what's happening in the internment camps, but while the Japanese-Americans were away from society the US Government also put up propaganda to remind everyone why they were sent away.
Wash Up Early, Rush Out Door, Give Jap Time, for Win War
These propaganda posters would be posted all throughout towns, for children and young adults to see; propaganda such as this can completely change your idea of the Japanese.
Made in Japan: Caught in the Pacific, Tanned in the USA
The stereotypical remarks made on these propaganda posters dehumanize Japanese-Americans to the point that they use Japanese-Americans as a rug, when usually an animal is in place. But in the government's mind: "What's the difference?"
Keep This Horror From Your Home
Notice the face that is shown in every picture, they all have the same general look due to the stereotype that all Japanese look alike, and they all have some sort of monster-like effect.
Now What?
Japanese-Americans can still be discriminated against today, and still have horrific memories of the internment camps due to how recent it was, so everyone needs to help the Japanese so that they don't feel as though they are treated in an inhumane manner. Spread the truth about what actually happened!
