9th-11th Grade Exam Schedule & Pre-Approved Checkout Process

9th - 11th Graders will have exams May 23rd - May 25th. The exam bell schedule is available below. Exams will take place in 90 minute blocks each morning. Exams are required for students, so if your child will be absent for any reason, you must complete a PRE-APPROVED ABSENCE FORM so that your child's exams can be taken at an earlier time.


If your child will be here for exams and you would like to check them out early each day once their exams are completed, PLEASE COMPLETE THIS FORM for pre-approval. This will simplify the check-out process for you and our staff.

SENIOR END OF COURSE EXAM SCHEDULE

Seniors will be taking their End of Course Exams from Monday-Wednesday (5/16-5/18). All District Final exams for Seniors will take place in the Cafeteria during the following times and on the following schedule.

Locker Clean-Out 5/19

Students who have purchased a school locker will be receiving passes via their first-period teachers on 5/18 and will be permitted by their Core teachers on 5/19 (this is 3rd-period Core) to use this pass to go to their lockers and clean them out completely. There will be donation boxes available for any unused supplies, etc...that students might want to donate, and garbage cans for anything they need to throw away.


If students want to clean out their lockers during the morning prior to school beginning or after the dismissal bell, this will be permitted, but students are not permitted to go to their lockers to clean them out during any other core period, or any other class period other than 5/19 during Coyote Core.


*Anything left in a student locker after 5/19 will be removed and discarded by our custodial staff. If you have any questions regarding your locker number or combination, please email jferry@pasco.k12.fl.us

No backpacks or Drawstring bags beginning 5/23

Students will not be permitted to bring backpacks or drawstring bags beginning 5/23. No bags larger than a half sheet of paper will be permitted on the campus. Students need to begin limiting what they are bringing to school.


If a student has a health condition that requires a bag larger than what is required, please reach out to Leslie Griffen, school nurse.

Class of 2023 Senior Pictures!

It is hard to believe, but it is that time! Class of 2023, start setting up appointments to schedule your Senior pictures! These appointments fill up quickly, so please schedule now! CLICK HERE, or use the QR code pictured.

Extended School Year

10th and 11th grade Extended School Year (ESY) messages and letters have been sent home with students that have not successfully completed the credits necessary for high school graduation for their cohort. In order for your student to graduate from high school, he/she will need to recover the credits needed to meet and demonstrate basic understanding of the skills reflected in the curriculum. If you feel your child meets this requirement and you have not received notification, please reach out to your child's school counselor.


9th graders will be invited once seats come available.

Dual Enrollment Information - Fall 2022

The Fall 2022 Online Registration Worksheet is now available on our Pasco DE webpage with important upcoming dates and deadlines for Fall Registration.

  • Please note that students who are taking an online course for the first time must complete the online readiness course through Canvas. Completion of the PHSC online readiness course is required prior to registering in any online dual enrollment courses. We highly encourage all students to access and complete the online readiness course now
  • Completion of the Student Orientation online is also REQUIRED for all DE students. Students who have not completed this course will not be able to register for Fall courses. Visit https://admissions.phsc.edu/start/high-school/dual-enroll/faq to access directions on how to complete the orientation.
  • Important Note: Course offerings for Fall and the dynamic form are now available.

Lastly, in collaboration with PHSC, Pasco County Schools will be hosting a virtual Dual Enrollment Registration Information Session on May 11th from 6:00pm-7:00pm to support parents and students as they go through the registration process for this fall. Please use this machform to register for the event.

Growlers - Athletic Awards Celebration

Our annual athletic awards celebration, The Growlers, will be held on Tuesday, May 17th, at 6:30pm at the Wesley Chapel Performing Arts Center. Seating will be limited so athletes will receive invites.

3rd Annual Campus Clean-Up

Calling all students! Join us for our annual campus clean-up. There is much to do in the summer months to care for our facilities and prepare our school for another exceptional year! Our staff is forming teams of 8-10 students to assist with the summer cleaning of the CCHS campus. You can earn 4 volunteer hours that will count toward your Bright Futures.
