The Water Cycle and Pollution
Find out how your water works
The Water Cycle
Evaporation
Water sources like lakes, oceans and rivers absorb thermal energy from the sun and vaporize in to the sun
Condensation
All the water in the atmosphere become smaller and start bunching together to form clouds and fog
Precipitation
All the small water drops in the atmosphere start forming together into bigger drops and lose thermal energy. They get to heavy to stay in the sky and start falling as rain or snow (depending of the tempreture)
Transpiration
The rain that gets soaked into the plants and gets pushed out the leafs in a gas form to help with photosynthises.
Runoff
The water that doesn't go into the plants becomes runoff and runs down the earth to the nearest bank of water, then stays there to become part of the cycle again.
Water Pollution
Causes:
Littering
Being too lazy to find a trash can and to throw out your junk. everything that you would throw out in a can will be wiped up by a wave or rain and end up in our water and become part of our cycle.
Oil Pollution
You know how oil and water mix, Spillage by oil ships that causes a a think layer on our water.
Burning fossil fuels
When they burn fossil fuel all that gas goes into the atmosphere and when the water evaporates it mixes with that and causes acid rain.
