PTA Holiday Gift Shop

Thank you so much to all the PTA volunteers who worked at the PTA Holiday Gift Shop. Our students enjoyed picking items for the people they care about.

Gingerbread Houses

Our staff built gingerbread houses with their teams. Students were then invited to vote for their favorite house. Congratulations to the 4th grade team because students voted for their gingerbread house the most.

NRES School Report Card

This is a report required by the Texas Legislature and prepared by the Texas Education Agency. It is to be sent to the parent or guardian of every child enrolled in a Texas public school. The report provides information concerning student performance on the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR), as well as information on student enrollment, class size averages, and financial expenditures.

State law requires that the school report card displays information about for the state, the district, and the school. Where possible, the information must be reported by race/ethnicity and socio-economic status of the students and must include at least two years of results.

The School Report Cards can be found online at:

School Report Card Definitions can be found online at:

A more complete report about North Riverside Elementary School, the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR), is available by contacting my office or can be accessed online at:

Please contact me if you have any questions concerning this report card. Thank you for your continued support of North Riverside Elementary School.

Best Attendance

Did you know one of the components in the Texas Schools accountability system is the attendance rate in our school? NRES is the only elementary school in Keller ISD with three distinctions out of five. We are working hard in being recognized in all five areas; and this is why we are working to ensure students attend school every day on time.

Congratulations to our second graders. They had the best attendance last week with 97.66%. Our goal for our campus this year is 97.5%. You can help us reach the goal by bringing your child to school every day on time. The doors open at 7:30 a.m. and class starts promptly at 8:00 a.m.
