The pathogen is called pubic lice is tiny insects that attach themselves to the skin and hair in the pubic area.
Where can you get pubic lice?
You can get pubic lice in the pubic areas, such as the vagina, penis and the anus. You can also get them in your eyebrows, eyelashes, and your underarm hair. Its spread by close contact.
What are the symptoms of pubic lice?
Symptoms of pubic lice consist of intense itching, in your pubic areas, low fever, having fatigue. Also you will have irritability.
What can do if you get pubic lice?
There are treatments for pubic lice. Also you can go to your doctor and they will prescribe you medicine such as A-200, RID, and NIX.
How can you prevent getting pubic lice?
There is no form of protection to protect you from pubic lice. A condom wont protect you from getting it. There is one way to prevent yourself and its through absence and limiting your partners.
What else should you know?
If you already have pubic lice don't have sex with anyone until treated and cured. There are also other ways you could get it although its very rare. You could get infected by coming into contact with a contaminated bedding, clothing, furniture and toilet seats.
