Tyngsborough High School
March 22, 2019
What's Happening...
Spring is here and March Madness took over THS on Thursday and Friday. Students participated in various games and activities, all while coming together as a school community and showing off their school spirit. On Tuesday night, members of the BioBuilder Club presented the school committee meeting to provide an overview of their project; AliveLight. They also discussed their recent visit to Lab Central and outlined their future plans for the club. Course selection sheets were due Friday. Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors now begin the schedule process for next year. Spring sports are underway with most teams starting the season outdoors as for the first time in years the weather is cooperating.
Sophomores will be participating in the ELA MCAS exam next week. If you have any questions in regards to this please email kate.trainor@tyngsboroughps.org.

Scholarships are continuing to arrive in the Student Services office and are posted on Naviance as well. Please encourage your child to review these posting and apply for scholarships.
Make sure to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application if you have not already done so. This application can be found at fafsa.gov. The FAFSA is the most important application in the financial aid process. All colleges and universities will require the FAFSA before determining a financial aid award. Colleges may also require students to complete a CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE (profileonline.collegeboard.org) and/or a college specific financial aid application. It is important to be aware of each college's financial aid deadlines - missing deadlines could result in missing out on financial aid. For more information on the financial aid process please visit mefa.org.
