Interesting facts about koalas
- They can hold food in their belly for over 8 days.
- They sleep for twenty hours on average in a day.
- The size of a newborn koala is about the size of a jellybean. (2 cm.)
- They are marsupials
Where they live
Koalas live in south Australia in the Eucalyptus forests, and woodlands. They spend most of their time in-between the branches of trees.
