THA APPLICATIONS DUE NOVEMBER 7th
It is my distinct pleasure to announce this year's Honors Appalachia Application is now live for participants.
Created in 2008, this week-long excursion immerses students in the life, beauty, and struggles of the Appalachian region with the aim of enriching the lives of the students and the communities they serve. At each site, teams of students build homes, assist with community projects, and explore the local environment while building community and taking time to reflect. Students return with a better sense of themselves, the world around them, and the energy to contribute locally.
Participants will need to raise $425 throughout the spring semester to come on the trip. Please don't let this deter you from applying.
THE APPLICATION IS DUE NOVEMBER 7th @ MIDNIGHT. Mandatory Kickoff Meeting with $25 deposit will be 3-4 PM on December 12th.

HELP ADOPT A BLOCK!
Saturday, November 3, 10 AM - 12 PM
Honors Activities Board and Temple Community Outreach are teaming up for a collaborative service event. We have partnered with the TU “Adopt-A-Block” initiative and will be working to clean up an off-campus block. This initiative seeks to beautify areas surrounding Temple in an effort to show our respect and appreciation for the North Philadelphia residents with whom we share this community. We are looking for some Honors students to spend two hours with us and be a good neighbor!
