And they're off!
Student Information Form
If you haven't already done so, please log onto your student's parent portal and update your information as soon as possible. This form is now past due.
This is a reminder that Tyngsborough Public Schools is now collecting yearly information updates through an online Student Information Form. Most of the information on this form is pre-populated with what we currently have on file. Please review and make changes where necessary. If you have multiple children, you will receive a separate email for each.
Please note that failure to complete this form may result in your child not receiving over the counter medications from the school nurse and will affect their ability to attend field trips.

Randy Pierce on Monday
Good afternoon,
We were fortunate to have Randy Pierce come to TMS Monday to talk with students and staff. His story was inspiring and will be a great start to our school year. Here is a little overview of Randy and his work:
Born and raised in New Hampshire, Randy was active in band, drama, and several outdoor sports before he climbed his first mountain at the young age of 10. Randy went on to earn his BSEE from the University of New Hampshire, then began a successful career at Digital Equipment Corporation as a hardware design engineer.
At the age of 22, Randy unexpectedly lost his vision over the course of a short two weeks due to a devastating neurological disease. Still passionate about sports, Randy found ways to continue to enjoy football, basketball, baseball, and even darts! His advancement in karate through his second-degree black belt helped him improve focus and orientation and excel at many of the challenges he faced through his blindness.
2020 Vision Quest began with Randy Pierce and his Dog Guide, Quinn, climbing all 48 of the rugged 4000+ foot peaks in the New Hampshire White Mountains. Using these and other adventures to raise awareness, the core mission will continue as Randy will work to inspire others to set their own visions and help them achieve their goals through outreach, education, and support.
2020 Vision Quest leads and inspires students and professionals to reach beyond adversity and achieve their peak potential. We believe in leading by example, in climbing the highest peaks, and in sharing our successes and challenges with each other. Funds raised through these endeavors will be given to two remarkable organizations which benefit the visually impaired community: the Future in Sight and the internationally renowned Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Check out his site for more information at: http://2020visionquest.org/index.html
I hope this can inspire great conversations at home like it will here at TMS.
