Fisher Farms is Underway and we need YOUR help!
We are seeking volunteers that are parent/child groupings. We cannot have a student on site unless they are accompanied by, and working with, an adult.

Fisher School Garden Tool Drop-Off Day
Saturday, May 9th, 9-11am

Garden Tool Supply List
2 wheelbarrows (for at least 2 wheels for balance - to be used by students)
2 garden rakes
2 hand shovels
10 hand rakes
10 small children’s sized watering cans
2 - 5 gallon buckets
2 pruning shears
2 sharp scissors (for thinning seedlings)
2 large baskets with handles, for collecting produce
2 sealable plastic tubs for classroom tools (upper and lower elementary tools and overwintering seek storage)
1 - 5 gallon bucket filled with sand to clean tools
1 box/bag of shop rags to clean tools
60 pairs of gardening gloves (30 pair children sized for students K-2, and 30 pair mixed small and medium for students in Grades 3-5
3 rolls of hemp string
Battery-operated irrigation timer that attaches to outdoor water faucet
2 hose sprayer nozzles- simple handle or "wand" style

Planting the seeds!
Our Kindergarten students, with help from the staff at the Norfolk Agricultural High School, planted seeds. Now, they are almost ready to plant!
