Book Fair Success!
- Add over $1500 in Scholastic dollars. These are used for your staff discount during book fair, purchasing books for needy students, purchasing books for our monthly reading rewards, and adding books to our Media Center.
- Add $2,500 to our Media Center budget. This will allow me to double our money from the county, which will allow us to purchase more books for the Media Center. Instead of only adding 125 books, we can now add 250.
- Purchase 36 new title for the Media Center.
If your grade level has books they would like purchased for the Media Center, please let me know as soon as possible. It can be specific titles that your grade level uses for lessons, or it can be a category.
The Book Fair will be back at the end of February during our parent-teacher conference week. Our upcoming theme is "Under the Sea." Looking forward to seeing you there!New TrueFlix and FreedomFlix!
In TrueFlix, they have added 10 new titles about the solar system, including all eight planets and the moon and sun.
In FreedomFlix, they have added several new books about the ancient world, including Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece.
